How to schedule Google My Business Posts for Free

Blog section Apr. 12 2021Yes, it’s absolutely free to use. Not bad, right?
Okay, let’s jump on this.
The very first step is to create an account on Gimby.
Gimby is the Web App that allows us to schedule and automate GMB posts.
Once you’ve landed on Gimby’s home page, just click on Pricing.
Then, choose the Free Plan option and Sign up.
Note: If you are planning to manage multiple Google My Business listings, it’s a good idea to pick a paid plan. The paid plans are very cheap and they will allow you to switch from a listing to another in one click. Very convenient stuff! Ok, now that you’ve created your account, you’ll now be able to Log In. We are almost there, let’s go! Once you’re logged in the Gimby App, the first step is to add the Google listing you want to create posts for.
To do so, click on the Green Plus Sign in the Google Listings box.
You’ll now be redirected to the Google Login page.
Just select the desired Google account, enter your password and let Gimby manage this account.
Now, you have to select your listing as the Active listing.
You can see the Active listing dropdown at the top of the screen.
You select the listing you want to manage and you’ll be good to go.
Scheduling a Google My Business Post
Now we are ready to create and schedule our first GMB post in Gimby.
Click on Posts in the menu and then click on Create.
Type the message of your post, the Call to Action (None, Call, Book, Learn more, Order, Shop or Sign up), the Recurrence (One-time, Weekly and Monthly) and then the Publishing date.
You can also attach an image to your post.
To do so, first click on the Media tab and upload your image.
When you’re done, go back to your post and click on Media and select the image you want to attach to this very Google My Business post.
Once you’re done with all that, you hit the Create Post button and you’re all set.
To be sure everything is fine with your post, click on the Calendar tab to see if your post is listed.
I hope it was not too hard to follow and feel free to share Gimby with your family and friends.
Have a good one!
